Our three best tips for the 2022 BMW Championship
August 18, 2022

This is the middle week of the FedEx Playoffs, with the FedEx St. Jude Championship taking place last week and the Tour Championship in Atlanta taking place next weekend. This week we have the BMW Championship in Wilmington, Delaware. It is the first time ever the PGA Tour is competing in the largest city in the second smallest state. Here are the three golfers we like the most.
1) Will Zalatoris
One of the world’s most exciting young golfers, the 26-year-old from San Francisco, California is currently ninth in the world rankings after winning his first PGA Tour event a week ago in Memphis. Where Zalatoris has been most impressive, is his putting in key situations.

2) Jon Rahm
The 2021 United States Open champion has made every single cut in 2022. His best result was a first place finish at the 2022 Mexico Championship where he shot a four-round score of -17 to beat Americans Brandon Wu, Tony Finau and Kurt Kitayama by a stroke. Rahm has dropped from first to fifth in the Official World Golf Rankings over the last year, but still remains very dangerous on a weekly basis.

There is no doubt that Patrick Cantlay of Long Beach, California plays his best golf at this time of year. A year ago he won the BMW Championship en route to winning the 2021 Fedex Cup Playoffs. Currently ranked fourth in the world, Cantlay has made seven straight cuts.
