Quarterback–Bo Nix
The biggest story of the week is the fact that the Denver Broncos beat the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in overtime despite the fact that Broncos quarterback Bo Nix broke his ankle. Nix finished the game completing 26 of 46 passes for 279 passing yards and three touchdowns, along with 12 rushes for 29 rushing yards.
Running Back–Kenneth Walker III
The Seahawks are in the NFC Championship after a 41-6 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night. The Seahawks ground game was dominated by running back Kenneth Walker III of Memphis, Tennessee. Walker III had 19 rushes for 116 rushing yards and three touchdown runs along with three catches for 29 receiving yards. Walker III will be the primary back for the Seahawks going forward as Zach Charbonnet injured his knee against the 49ers and is out for the postseason.
Wide Receiver–Marvin Mims Jr.
The top wideout of the week was Nix’s most popular target. Marvin Mims Jr. of Frisco, Texas had eight catches for 93 yards and one touchdown. The major score came with one minute and one second left in the fourth quarter from Nix, which at the time put the Broncos up 30-27.
Tight End–Dalton Kincaid
The Bills lost in overtime, but it was still a strong performance from their tight end Dalton Kincaid of Las Vegas, Nevada. Kincaid had six catches for 83 yards and one touchdown.
Kicker–Wil Lutz
Keeping with the Broncos theme, the Broncos beat the Bills 33-30 on a 23 yard field goal by kicker Wil Lutz of Newnan, Georgia. Lutz also made field goals from 28, 33 and 50 yards, and made three converts.
