The Edge NSW: Monday 11/10 – NSW & Country Service

Staking plan and previews for Mondays racing at Tamworth and Murwillumbah

Murwillumbah Race 4
2u Think High $3.5

Well placed here third-up on the back of an impressive win at Lismore over 1400. The overall rating wasn’t outstanding but he trailed a field were they walked in front and his last 200 was great. He showed his class in his first prep in the city recording some solid ratings. He then came back and didn’t fire in his second prep but has come back well in his third and current prep. Looks to be enough speed here. Beef Week Princess main danger.

3.8 – 3.5 with deductions

Tamworth Race 7
1.5u Joeys Chance $5

Has been producing some massive late splits recently. Last start finished 3rd 2L at Scone over 1100m in tougher company. Raced behind a slow speed there but really got the legs going late running excellent L400 and L200 splits. Generally gets back in races but can settle a bit closer from barrier 2. Well suited here behind the genuine tempo.

0.5u at 13 staked last night, into $6.5 with deductions
add 0.75u at 4.4
