Nashville has been named the host city of the 2030 Super Bowl according to the Associated Press on Wednesday. The game will be played at Nissan Stadium, which will open in 2027, and will also be the new home of the Tennessee Titans.
This will be the first time ever that the state of Tennessee will host the Super Bowl. The 2027 Super Bowl will be at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California (home of the Los Angeles Chargers and the Los Angeles Rams). The 2028 Super Bowl will be at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia (home of the Atlanta Falcons). The 2029 Super Bowl will be at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada (home of the Las Vegas Raiders).
It is interesting that the National Football League has announced the host site of two Super Bowls in a span of just under two months. The decision to host the 2029 Super Bowl was made on March 30.
Super Bowl LXIV will be watched by 60,000 spectators and will be shown on NBC. The game will be shown after NBC’s coverage of the 2030 Olympic Winter Games in the French Alps.
CBS NFL Play-by-play Broadcaster Jim Nantz of Charlotte, North Carolina has been named the co-chair of the 2030 Super Bowl committee. Nantz has been the voice of seven Super Bowls (2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2024). The other co-chair is Nashville Predators owner and former Tennessee governor Bill Haslam.
The Titans are currently in a rebuilding phase. In 2025, they posted a record of three wins and 14 losses. That was tied with the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders for the worst record in the NFL.
