Rosehill Race 7 – She’s Ideel
She’s Ideel will not start $91 like she did 2 starts back in the G1 Chipping Norton over an unsuitable distance and nearly pulled an unbelievable upset when she was a stride away from pipping Verry Elleegant. However, she still represents great value at double figure odds returning to what looks like it will be a rain effected track and over 2400m. She certainly loves it wet which means you can put a line through her last start 10th in the Australian Cup on a good track at Flemington.

Rosehill Race 9 – Maotai
Maotai is a sleeping giant of a sprinter ready to break onto the black type scene in Sydney after a win in a BM78 at Randwick a month ago where he recorded a scorching time. He was prepared for this in a barrier trial on Tuesday that he won by 10L. He is down in the weights on a wet surface and should find the front with T Clark aboard. He looks to be flying and I think it’ll take something in rich form to run him down.
