2023 Los Angeles Rams Projected Finish, Key Signings & Fantasy Stars

In the 19th of a 32-part series, we are featuring all National Football League teams with a prediction of where each team will finish within their division, key off-season acquisitions and their top fantasy stars. Here are the Los Angeles Rams.

Key Off Season Acquisition

The Rams acquired tight end Hunter Long of Exeter, New Hampshire in a trade with the Miami Dolphins on March 12, 2023. The Rams also received a third round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft (selected defensive end Byron Young out of the University of Tennessee), while they gave up cornerback Jalen Ramsey. In the first few weeks of the season, the Rams have won the trade as Ramsey will be out of the lineup with a meniscus injury.

There is no doubt that the Rams will be retooling after losing several players in free agency. They include kicker Matt Gay to Indianapolis, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to Baltimore, safety Nick Scott to Cincinnati, defensive end Leonard Floyd to Buffalo, linebacker Bobby Wagner to Seattle, and defensive end A’Shawn Robinson to the New York Giants.

Fantasy Stars

There are no Rams ranked in the top 10 at any fantasy football position in 2023.

Projected Finish

It is amazing how far the Rams have fallen since their Super Bowl title of 2022. Los Angeles was downright horrendous last season as they had the third worst record in the conference at five wins and 12 losses. Yes, they still have a star quarterback in Matt Stafford, and wide receiver in Cooper Kupp, but there is simply not much to get excited from the Rams this season. Expect a third place repeat in the NFC West.
