The 2025 National Football League trade deadline took place on Tuesday. Here are 12 players who were traded in 1o transactions.

Ahmad Gardner traded from the Jets to the Colts for Adonai Mitchell.

In one of two gigantic transactions, the Indianapolis Colts traded wide receiver Adonai Mitchell of Missouri City, Texas to the New York Jets with a first round pick in 2026 and 2027 for cornerback Ahmad (Sauce) Gardner of Detroit, Michigan (pictured above).

Mitchell has nine catches for 152 receiving yards with the Colts this season. Gardner has 20 combined tackles (15 solo tackles and five assisted tackles), along with six pass deflections. He was a two-time Pro Bowler (2022 and 2023), was the Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2022, and led the NFL with 20 pass deflections as a rookie in 2022 too. In July, Gardner became the NFL’s highest paid cornerback after signing a four year contract extension worth $120.4 million.

Quinnen Williams traded from the Jets to the Cowboys for Mazi Smith.

The Jets also traded another defender in defensive lineman Quinnen Williams of Birmingham, Alabama to the Dallas Cowboys for defensive tackle Mazi Smith of Southfield, Michigan, a conditional first round pick in 2027 and a second round pick in 2026.

Williams was a Pro Bowler for three straight seasons from 2022 to 2024. In 2025, he had 32 combined tackles (17 solo tackles and 15 assisted tackles), seven tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, three forced fumbles and one sack. Smith had three assisted tackles with the Cowboys this season.

Titans trade Dre’Mont Jones to Ravens.

The Tennessee Titans traded defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones of Cleveland Ohio to the Baltimore Ravens for a conditional fifth round pick in 2026. The Ravens are Jones’s fourth NFL team after four seasons with the Denver Broncos (2019 to 2022), two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks (2023 and 2024) and half a season with the Titans (2025). In nine games this season, Jones has 26 combined tackles (13 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles), nine quarterback hits, five tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery for two yards. The fumble recovery came in a 22-21 Titans win over the Arizona Cardinals on October 5.

Raiders trade Jakobi Meyers to Jaguars.

The Las Vegas Raiders have traded wide receiver Jakobi Meyers of Lithonia, Georgia to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fourth and sixth round pick in 2026. The Jaguars are the third team Meyers has played for. He has played four seasons with the New England Patriots (2019 to 2022) and three seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders (2023 to 2025). In 2025, Meyers has 33 catches for 352 receiving yards. Ironically, Meyers just played for the Raiders on Sunday against Jacksonville in a 30-29 Jaguars win. He had four catches for 23 receiving yards.

Saints trade Trevor Penning to the Chargers.

The New Orleans Saints have traded offensive tackle Trevor Penning of Clear Lake, Iowa to the Los Angeles Chargers for a sixth round pick in 2027. Penning was with the Saints the last four seasons.

Dolphins trade Jaelan Phillips to the Eagles.

The Miami Dolphins have traded linebacker Jaelan Phillips of Redlands, California to the Philadelphia Eagles for a third round pick in 2026. This season with the Dolphins, Phillips has  25 combined tackles (15 solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles), seven quarterback hits, three tackles for a loss, three sacks and one fumble recovery for four yards. The fumble recovery came in a 27-21 Dolphins win over the New York Jets on September 29.

Saints trade Rashid Shaheed to Seahawks.

The New Orleans Saints have traded wide receiver Rashid Shaheed of Phoenix, Arizona to the Seattle Seahawks for a fourth and fifth round pick in 2026. This season, Shaheed had 44 catches for 499 receiving yards and two touchdown catches. He also had two rushes for five rushing yards.

Chargers trade Ja’Sir Taylor to the Jets.

The Los Angeles Chargers have traded cornerback Ja’Sir Taylor to the New York Jets for a conditional seventh round pick in 2028. This season Taylor has eight combined tackles (six solo tackles and two assisted tackles). The first assisted tackle came in a 27-21 Chargers win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil on September 5 and the second assisted tackle came in a 23-20 Chargers win over the Denver Broncos on September 21.

Browns trade Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to the Bears.

The Cleveland Browns have traded linebacker Joe Tryon-Shoyinka of Renton, Washington to the Chicago Bears with a seventh round pick in 2026 for a sixth round pick in 2026. Tryon-Shoyinka spent four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2021 to 2024 and this past season with the Cleveland Browns. This season in Cleveland, Tryon-Shoyinka had nine combined tackles (five solo tackles and four assisted tackles) and one tackle for a loss.

Bengals trade linebacker Logan Wilson to the Broncos.

Why anyone would want a Bengals defender at this time is gobsmacking. At the trade deadline, the Bengals traded linebacker Logan Wilson of Casper, Wyoming to the Denver Broncos for a seventh round pick in 2026. Wilson had 46 combined tackles (27 assisted tackles and 19 solo tackles) and one fumble recovery with the Bengals this season.
