It is now time to take a look at the top fantasy player at every fantasy position from Wildcard Weekend. We are featuring one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, one tight end and one kicker.Â
Quarterback–Josh Allen
The Buffalo Bills played an an entertaining Wildcard game on Sunday in a 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in northern Florida. Bills quarterback Josh Allen showcased why he is the reigning NFL MVP. The native of Firebaugh, California completed 28 of 35 passes for 273 passing yards and one touchdown, along with 11 rushes for 33 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Buffalo will play Denver Saturday in the first of four divisional playoff games.
Wide Receiver–Puka Nacua
The Rams went on the road on Saturday and defeated the Carolina Panthers 34-31. Normally, Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua of Las Vegas, Nevada is a threat in the passing game. He had 10 catches for 111 receiving yards and one touchdown. In this game, Nacua also found the end zone on the ground as he had a touchdown from three rushes for 14 rushing yards.
Running Back–Christian McCaffrey
The San Francisco 49ers running back from Castle Rock, Colorado led the 49ers to a 23-19 win over the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. On Sunday afternoon, McCaffrey had 114 total yards (66 receiving yards and 48 rushing yards) and two major scores.
Tight End–Colston Loveland
The rookie tight end from Goldendale, Washington continued his great first season in the NFL. On Saturday, Loveland had eight catches for 137 receiving yards in a 31-27 Bears win over the Green Bay Packers. He also caught the ball on a two-point conversion.
Kicker–Cairo Santos
Also in the Bears win over the Packers, Bears kicker Cairo Santos of Sao Paulo, Brazil had no problem kicking in cold January weather conditions. Santos made field goals of 27, 34 and 51 yards and two converts.
