Week 18 of the 2025 National Football League regular season is now complete. Here are the top five rookies on winning teams. Three of the rookies this week are kickers.
5) Andre Szmyt
In a game where Myles Garrett set the NFL record for most sacks in a season, it was a solid game too for Browns rookie kicker Andre Szmyt of Lake Forest, Illinois. Szmyt had field goals of 27 and 49 yards and two converts in a 20-18 Browns win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Szmyt’s second field goal was 49 yards and happened on the final play of the game to give Cleveland the victory.
4) TreVeyon Henderson
The New England Patriots rookie running back complimented fellow running back Rhamondre Stevenson very well in a 38-10 Patriots win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Henderson had 13 rushes for 53 yards and two major scores. The touchdowns were for two and five yards. Henderson opened the scoring and closed the scoring.
2) Harrison Mevis
The Los Angeles Rams got the fifth seed in the NFC postseason with a 37-20 Rams win over Arizona Cardinals. Rams rookie kicker Harrison Mevis of Warsaw, Indiana made three field goals of 34, 40 and 42 yards and made four converts.
2) Ben Sauls
It was equally an impressive game for New York Giants kicker Ben Sauls of Tipp City, Ohio. Sauls had four field goals (of 23, 30, 35 and 45 yards) and two converts in a 34-17 Giants win over the Dallas Cowboys.
1) Jaxson Dart
In his final game as a NFL rookie, Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart of Kaysville, Utah completed 22 of 32 passes for 230 passing yards and two touchdowns, along with five rushes for 32 rushing yards in the Giants win.
