Three-way tie for the lead after round three at 2024 United States Women’s Open

There is a three-way tie for the lead at the 2024 United States Women’s Open. The three players at -5 are Australia’s Minjee Lee, the 2021 Evian Masters champion, and 2022 United States Women’s Open champion, American Andrea Lee and Thailand’s Wichanee Meechai.
Minjee Lee had a first round score of 70, a second round score of one-under-par, and a third round score of four-under-par. In the first round, she had five birdies and five bogeys. Lee birdied the second, third, ninth, 15th and 17th holes, and bogeyed the first, fourth, 11th, 14th and 16th holes. In the second round, she had three birdies and two bogeys. Lee birdied the fifth, 12th and 13th holes, and bogeyed the 17th and 18th holes. In the third round, she had three birdies, one eagle and one bogey. Lee eagled the seventh hole, birdied the 11th, 12th and 16th hole, and bogeyed the 14th hole.
Andrea Lee had a first round score of 69, second round score of 69, and third round score of 67. In the first round, she had four birdies and three bogeys. Lee birdied the seventh, ninth, 12th and 18th holes, and bogeyed fifth, 10th, and 15th holes. In the second round, she had four birdies, one eagle, three bogeys and a double bogey. Lee eagled the first hole, birdied the second, third, fourth, and 11th holes, bogeyed the fifth, eighth, and 15th holes, and double bogeyed the 12th hole. In the third round, Lee had five birdies and two bogeys. She birdied the first, third, fifth, 15th and 16th holes, and bogeyed the fourth and eighth holes.
In the third round, Meechai had three birdies and two bogeys. She birdied the first, seventh, and 15th holes, and bogeyed the 10th and 14th holes.
Two more players are in contention and under par. Hinako Shibuno of Japan, is in fourth place at -3. Shibuno won the 2019 Women’s British Open. Yuka Saso of Japan, is in fifth place at -2. Saso won the 2021 United States Women’s Open.
