Randwick Race 6 – Forbidden Love
Forbidden Love looks to be flying. Her last start 2nd in the Expressway where she was held up at a crucial point on the turn and still beat home Anamoe was sensational and has since back it up with a nice trial behind Wild Ruler. She loves the wet and looks a great bet here back against the mares.

Randwick Race 8 – Espiona
Many would be disappointed with Espiona’s last start 2nd behind stablemate Fangirl but I feel there was plenty of merit in the run after she travelled wide and was exposed at the front way too early at the 400m. She was still able to fight off talented filly Jamaea but that battle worked out perfectly for Fangirl who peeled out from behind them at the 100m and was a touch too strong late.
Espiona will have to deal with a horror gate but there’s no one else you’d rather have navigate that then James McDonald.

Caufield Race 8 – Wild Ruler
Wild Ruler is a sprinter that I expect to continue to improve this preparation after we were on him for his break through G1 in the Manikato last prep. He looks way over the odds in a market that is dominated by an undefeated mare having her first start in a G1. His two trial wins to prepare for this show he is on track.
