Townsville Race 2

0.75u Avatea $8

Comes out of a strong race last start here finishing 9th 2.2l over the 1000m with some good figures to show for it. He was beaten 2L by Journey Of Song and Hell Of A Boy who go around in race 8 (cls1) at $3.8 and $7. That effort sets him up well here. He draws the rails and can settle close. Better than the form suggests and is overs.

Townsville Race 6

0.3u Danites $19

Joined the Rix stable this prep. Has had the single start, last time out, for the stable finishing 5th 0.5L here in the cls1 with Journey of Song and Hell Of A Boy, who as previously mentioned are well in the market later in the day. Form from that race should stack up. She will roll forward here from the wide gate and give them something to catch.

Townsville Race 8

2u Journey Of Song $3.8

Hard to go past him here. Has been flying for the Massingham stable since joining them three preps back. He posses a massive finish as seen last start, coming from last over the 1000m here to finish 3rd 0.2L. Step up to 1200 is a positive. Hasn’t had luck over the 1200 for the new stable but has excellent figures prior.

Every Metro/Provincial meeting is analysed. If theres no post it means theres nothing we are keen on, like yesterday.
