Best Selection: R6- Tempted
Tempted brings a class edge to the G2 Arrowfield. She is 2/2 this prep winning the Eskimo Prince and G1 Surround by 1.2l and 0.1L. She didn’t seem to run out a strong 1400m in the Surround so the drop back to 1200m with 6 weeks between runs looks an ideal set up.
The 1.1L 2nd to Ka Ying Rising in the Everest is the ultimate form reference for a restricted 3yo race. She gets enough tempo on up front likely landing midfield and 1 off. She’s a bet even at the red odds.

Value Selection: R8- Idle Flyer
Idle Flyer looks set to peak 3rd up in the G1 Queen of the Turf where there have to be question marks around some of her market rivals coming to a race they’ve been set for. The Smith mare looks to be forging a break out prep and the map looks great settling a pair or two forward of midfield potentially outside Lady Shenandoah.
She was terrific stepping up to a more suitable 1500m and taking out the G2 Emancipation by 0.7L 2nd up. She has a win and a 2nd from two Randwick mile starts and the strong tempo set by Jenni will suit if she comes back to them.
