Gold Coast Race 5

Resumes here for the new stable, up from NSW. Had one sound trial, importantly over 1000m, where he responded well to riding. His prior first up figures over 1250 and 1300 have been good for this and set him up well. Generally rates well over this distance and the recent trial adds confidence. Should be trailing a hot speed.

Gold Coast Race 7

Jeez he was an eye catcher last start. Second-up over the mile at Doomben and absolutely flew home to finish 2nd 0.2L, beating Dear Sibling and Siennas Award. Late splits were outstanding and the step up to the 1800 here is a big tick. Fitter third up, Callow striking at 24% and barrier 1 are just more ticks.

Warwick Race 2

Resumed for the Jones stable with a solid effort at Doomben finishing 6th over 1350 putting up a good rating. Has shown promising signs in the past and the stable switch seems to have done the trick. Query as to where he will settle in the field. He’s shown speed in the past but was slow last start, however will get the opportunity to settle closer from the soft draw.
