Winkers came on first time last start and she won over the 1000m in similar company hitting the line very well. She went back after a slow start. She finds a soft gate and can settle a bit closer. Expecting her to run out the 1200 well here with the recent gear change. Stable and Jockey both performing well above market expectation.

1u Montenegro Man $6.5

He’s put up two big efforts on the back of a stable change. He was freshened and came out to hit the line very well over the 1000m at Eagle Farm. He then won at Doomben in cls 4 company over 1200m, again strong through the line. Draws a good gate here and can settle a bit close.

Doomben R8

2u Spaceboy $3.8

Freshened and from barrier 1 should go straight to the front and take control of this race. He has some strong Sydney and Melbourne form with figures that set him up very well here. He faded last start in G3 company after going very fast early. 1050m is an ideal distance as he rates best over the 1000m and 1100m.
