Has been recording some pretty handy figures from in front recently. Has been very consistent with 4 placings from 4 efforts. Two back finished 2nd 0.8L at Moruya over 1200m, winner found the fastest lane. Similar story last start where he finished 3rd 1.7L where 1st and 2nd both found the outside (faster) lanes. Both runs on slow, handles affected. Will roll forward from the wide gate.

Happy to bet around Grand Palazzo here. He really found the fast lane last start and saw a big improvement in her ratings. Not as good as that suggests. Moon Stories is on debut out of the Bateup stable who arent in top order at the moment. Charlemagne is the one to beat here on previous ratings and this sets up well for him jumping from the rails. He is third up on the back of two solid efforts, with good figures to back it up. Relishes the wet.
