There was a trade made in the National Football League on Monday. According to Logan Ulrich of nfltraderumors.co the Houston Texans have traded offensive tackle Cam Robinson of Monroe, Louisiana to the Cleveland Browns. In addition to Robinson, the Browns received a seventh round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. The Texans are receiving a sixth round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
The Browns will be Robinson’s fourth NFL franchise. He was previously with the Jacksonville Jaguars for eight seasons from 2017 to 2024. Robinson actually played for two teams in 2024 as he was also with the Minnesota Vikings. In 2025, he was with the Texans. Robinson is shown above standing and blocking while with Jacksonville.
Last season in Houston, Robinson only played three games and had one start. In that time, the Texans lost all three games.
This was the second time in Robinson’s NFL career he was traded. On October 30, 2024, Robinson was traded from the Jaguars to the Vikings with a conditional seventh round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft for a conditional fifth round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The fifth round pick was going to be upgraded to a fourth round pick when you took playing time into consideration. Robinson played 10 games in his time with Minnesota.
It has been a tough season for the Browns to date. They have a record of one win and three losses. Their one win came in week three as they shockingly beat the Green Bay Packers 13-10 on a game-winning field goal by Andre Szmyt of Lake Forest, Illinois.
