Our three best tips for the 2025 RBC Heritage
April 17, 2025
Scottie Scheffler (X)
The Masters is now complete and we are set to go with the 2025 RBC Heritage from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The notable landmark everybody is aware of on the course is the lighthouse that is near the 18th hole. Let’s take a look at the three golfers we like the most this weekend.
Scottie Scheffler
Despite not winning the Masters last weekend, world number one Scottie Scheffler (+360) of Ridgewood, New Jersey has a lot to play for this week. He has seen his average point total lead in the Official World Golf Rankings drop to under three points. Scheffler has 14.5508 points, while Masters champion Rory McIlroy of Holywood, Northern Ireland has 11.7487 points. Luckily for Scheffler, he has had past success at the RBC Heritage, as he is the defending champion. A year ago, Scheffler posted a score of -19 and beat Sahith Theegala of the United States by three strokes.
Jordan Spieth
The world number 58 has had great success too at Hilton Head. In 2022 and 2023, Spieth (+4000) was involved in back-to-back playoffs. In 2022, he beat American Patrick Cantlay. Then in 2023, he lost to England’s Matt Fitzpatrick. During these two PGA Tour events, Spieth had a combined score of -30. Spieth’s best result this year was a fourth place in Phoenix.
Patrick Cantlay
We all know that Patrick Cantlay (+1800) Â of Long Beach, California has a history of playing slowly, but the laid back atmosphere in Hilton Head, has suited his game quite nicely. The world number 16 had a score of -13 when he lost to Spieth in a playoff in 2022, and was in third place last year.
