Our three best tips for the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational
March 7, 2025

The Florida swing on the PGA Tour is alive and well. The Arnold Palmer Invitational takes place this week after unknown Joe Highsmith won the Cognizant Classic last week. Here are three golfers we like this week at the golf tournament who is named after one of the best ever, and was simply known as The King.
Ludvig Aberg
The golfer we like the most this week is ranked fourth in the world. Aberg won The Genesis already this year, and finished fifth at the Sentry. Aberg is poised to win a major in 2025 for sure. At this time, he is a definite favourite to win his second signature event of the season. The only other two golfers with a signature event title in 2025 were Hideki Matsuyama of Japan (Sentry) and Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland (Pebble Beach).

Justin Thomas
The two-time PGA Championship winner from Louisville, Kentucky, (2017 and 2022), is eighth in the world, despite not having a win since the 2022 PGA Championship. In 2025, Thomas’s best result was a second place finish at The American Express where Thomas posted a score of -23, and was only two strokes back of Sepp Straka of Austria.
