Scottie Scheffler (YouTube)
The second major of the 2023 golf season takes place on Thursday with the 2023 PGA Championship from Rochester, New York. Here are the three golfers we like the most. It should be no surprise it is the best three golfers in the world.
Scottie Scheffler
The world number two has displayed an incredible amount of consistency in the last several months. Just how consistent? Well, he has been in the top 15 in the last 13 PGA Tournaments he has participated in. During that time, he won the Phoenix Open and the Players Championship. This past weekend, Scheffler finished in fifth place, and was only three strokes back of champion Jason Day of Australia at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Jon Rahm
The native of Barrika, Spain, and world number one, has already won a major this year as he was victorious at Augusta in winning the Masters in April. For Rahm it was his second major title (also won the 2021 United States Open) and his fourth win of 2023. He also won the Sentry Tournament of Champions, The American Express, and The Genesis Open. Heading into the 2023 PGA Championship, Rahm is the co-favourite along with Scheffler, to win the Wanamaker Trophy.

Rory McIlroy
The native of Holywood, Northern Ireland is a four-time major champion. Two of his major titles came at the PGA Championship as he was victorious in 2012 at Kiawah Island in South Carolina, and in 2014 at Valhalla. McIlroy also won the 2011 United States Open, and the 2014 British Open. The world number three was our favourite to win the Masters, as he came mighty close in 2022, but stunningly missed the cut. McIlroy has won one prestigious tournament in 2023. That came at the Dubai Desert Classic.
