7 race meeting at Ascot today at the midweeks and one that doesn’t generate a lot of interest from a betting perspective. The rail goes out the 12m which means traditionally they will be running on down the middle of the track. Looks likely we will be getting involved potentially at Bunbury tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Yulong Earth
Really liked the run of Yulong Earth last start in Saturday 60+ grade. Was really strung up between horses which isn’t a horse with his kind of temperament’s go but once he found some running room he really hit the line hard not far from horses such as Fa’lion Maschine and Amelia’s Contraire who both stepped into higher grade and ran well over the weekend at Bunbury. The form running 2nd behind Downforce over this track/trip 2 back reads super for this and with the rail out the 12m, Pateman (who I love the booking of) just needs to find him some cover and a back to follow rounding the turn and pending he keeps his head screwed on, he can be finishing off hard out in the middle of the track and give a race of this nature a real shake.
