We’ve selected a Waller runner coming off consecutive 2nds over the Warwick Farm mile as our Best Selection and a Maher runner at double figure odds to end the day.
Best Selection: R6- Influential
Influential stands out getting to a mile 3rd up here. He is coming off consecutive 2nds in this grade over this track/distance. The latest saw him held up on heels from the 600m to the turn and seemed to have the momentum knocked out of him when he was forced to barge his way out of the pocket. The fact he was still able to fight for a close 2nd added a lot of merit.
He maps to get a lovely run 1-2 pairs back in this and look a great chance to go one better.

Value Selection: R7- Lonrioli
Lonrioli has recorded consecutive 3rds in this grade. Gets a nice map behind a genuine tempo and should improve getting onto a firmer surface. The $11 on offer looks massive overs.
