It is now time to take a look at the top fantasy player at every fantasy position from week 7. We are featuring one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, one tight end and one kicker.
Quarterback–Bo Nix
The Denver Broncos were involved in a remarkable Sunday comeback. Down 19-0, the Broncos marched all the way back and beat the New York Giants 33-32. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix of Arkadelphia, Pennsylvania completed 27 of 50 passes for 279 passing yards and two touchdowns. He also had five rushes for 48 rushing yards and two more touchdowns. With the win, the Broncos improved to a record of five wins and two losses.
Running Back–Jahmyr Gibbs
The Detroit Lions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-9 on Monday night, and it was a marvelous game for Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs of Dalton, Georgia, as we learned the Buccaneers struggle defending the run. The two-time pro Bowler had 17 rushes for 136 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, along with three catches for 82 receiving yards. Like the Broncos, the Lions are also at 5-2.
Wide receiver–DeVonta Smith
After a slow start to the season, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith of Amite City, Louisiana, had great chemistry with quarterback Jalen Hurts on Sunday. In a 28-22 Eagles win over the Minnesota Vikings, Smith had nine catches for 183 receiving yards and one touchdown. The Eagles also improve to 5-2.
Tight End–Pat Freiermuth
The Pittsburgh Steelers were upset by the Cincinnati Bengals 33-31 on Thursday night to open Week 7. It was still a strong game for Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth of Merrimac, Massachusetts. Freiermuth had five catches for 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns, as he was building chemistry with Aaron Rodgers.
Kicker–Will Reichard
In week seven, the Vikings had a strong game from kicker Will Reichard of Hoover, Alabama, despite the loss. Reichard made five field goals and one convert. The longest field goal was 59 yards.
