Week eight of the 2025 National Football League regular season is now complete. Here are the top five rookies on winning teams.
5) Pat Bryant
The 22-year-old from Dallas, Texas had two catches for 40 yards and a touchdown on Sunday in a dominant 44-24 Denver Broncos win over the Dallas Cowboys. Bryant had a 24 yard touchdown pass from Bo Nix with 39 seconds left in the first half which put the Broncos up 27-10 at the time. He was the Broncos’s third round pick, 74th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Illinois.
4) Woody Marks
The Houston Texans rookie running back had 11 rushes for 62 rushing yards and four catches for 49 receiving yards in a 26-15 Texans win over the San Francisco 49ers. Marks is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, who was the Texans’s fourth round pick, 116th overall, out of USC.
3) Ollie Gordon II
The Miami Dolphins rookie running back had 10 rushes for 46 rushing yards and one catch for 20 receiving yards and one touchdown in a 34-10 Dolphins upset win over the Atlanta Falcons. The native of Fort Worth, Texas was the Dolphins’s sixth round pick, 179th overall, out of Oklahoma State. Gordon II’s touchdown was for 20 yards and came from Tua Tagovailoa and came at 1:32 of the fourth quarter to put Miami up 30-3 at the time.
2) Oronde Gadsden II
The native of Miramar, Florida had five catches for 77 receiving yards and one touchdown on Thursday in a dominant 37-10 Los Angeles Chargers win over the Minnesota Vikings. Gadsden II opened the scoring with an eight yard touchdown catch from Justin Herbert. The tight end was the Chargers’s fifth round pick, 165th overall, out of Syracuse.
1) R.J. Harvey
Also in the Broncos win over the Cowboys, it was a strong game for Broncos running back R.J. Harvey of Orlando, Florida,. The Broncos’s second round pick, 60th overall out of the University of Central Florida was sensational. He found the end zone thrice, and had 51 total yards.
