Top five rookies from week 5 of the 2024 NFL season

The National Football League is five weeks complete. Here are the top five rookies from week four on winning teams. This year we are including kickers.
5) Brian Thomas Jr.
The rookie wide receiver from Walker, Louisiana was the Jacksonville Jaguars’ first round pick, 23rd overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Louisiana State University. On Sunday, he caught five passes for 122 yards and one touchdown in a 37-34 Jaguars win over the Indianapolis Colts. Thomas’s touchdown catch was 85 yards from Trevor Lawrence and put Jacksonville up 10-7 at the time.
4) Will Reichard
The rookie kicker from Hoover, Alabama was the Minnesota Vikings’ sixth round pick, 203rd overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Alabama. On Sunday in London, England, Reichard made field goal attempts from 41, 53 and 54 yards and two converts as Minnesota beat the New York Jets 23-17. The Vikings are now a perfect 5-0.
3) Jayden Daniels
The rookie quarterback from Fontana, California was the Washington Commanders’s first round pick, second overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of LSU. On Sunday, Daniels completed 14 of 25 passes for 238 passing yards, with one touchdown and one interception, along with 11 rushes for 82 rushing yards in a 34-13 Washington win over the Cleveland Browns. Daniels’s touchdown throw was on a 41-yard play to wide receiver Dynami Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina, and put Washington up 24-3 at the time. The Commanders are now at 4-1 and lead the NFC East.
2) Bo Nix
The rookie quarterback from Arkadelphia, Arkansas was the Denver Broncos’s first round pick, 12h overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Oregon. On Sunday, Nix completed 19 of 27 passes for 206 passing yards, and two touchdowns, along with eight rushes for nine rushing yards and another major score as the Broncos beat the Las Vegas Raiders 34-18. Nix had a one yard touchdown run and threw touchdown passes of four yards to running back Jaleel McLaughlin of Marshville, North Carolina, and nine yards to Josh Reynolds of San Antonio, Texas. Denver has now won three straight after losing their first two.
1) Caleb Williams
The first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft sizzled on Sunday in a 36-10 Chicago Bears pounding over the Carolina Panthers. Williams completed 20 of 29 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns, along with five rushes for 34 yards. The Washington native had two touchdown passes to former Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of 34 yards and 30 yards.
