Top five rookies from Week 12 of 2025 NFL season

Week 12 of the 2025 National Football League regular season is now complete. Here are the top five rookies on winning teams. Three of the players this week are kickers.

5) Tyler Loop

One of the biggest stories in Week 12 was the turn around of the Baltimore Ravens.  They are now leading the AFC North after a five game winning streak. On Sunday, the Ravens beat the New York Jets 23-10 thanks to three field goals and two converts by Ravens rookie kicker Tyler Loop of Lucas, Texas. Loop’s field goals were of 27, 31 and 35 yards.

4) Dylan Sampson

The Cleveland Browns had a dominant performance defensively over the Las Vegas Raiders in a 24-10 win. It was also a great game for Browns running back Dylan Sampson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sampson had seven rushes for 23 rushing yards and two catches for 59 receiving yards and a major score. The touchdown catch was for 66 yards from Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders of Tyler, Texas.

3) Harrison Mevis

Playing in only his third NFL game, Los Angeles Rams kicker Harrison Mevis of Warsaw, Indiana made two field goals and four converts on Sunday in a dominant 34-7 Los Angeles Rams win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night. Mevis’s field goals were from 40 and 52 yards.

2) Quinshon Judkins

Sampson was not the only rookie Browns running back that shined on Sunday. It as also a notable performance by Quinshon Judkins of Montgomery, Alabama. Judkins had 16 rushes for 47 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

1) Andres Borregales

The Patriots are the best team in the NFL at 10-2. They were the first team in the NFL to reach double digits in wins this season after beating the Cincinnati Bengals 26-20. It was a strong game for Patriots rookie kicker Andres Borregales of Caracas, Venezuela, who made field goals from 19, 41, 45 and 52 yards.
