A lightly raced Galileo gelding is the horse to follow from Saturday’s Rosehill meeting.

Great House has hardly been a punter’s pal in his 5 starts in Sydney, he has been well backed for the majority of those starts and only saluting twice. However, after his 1st up victory over 1500m where he beat Zing who subsequently won earlier on Saturday, he looks to be putting it all together.
He ran over a more ideal distance of 1800m on Saturday and at the 200m he loomed up to put them away before hanging in behind another horse. At this point jockey, Brenton Avdulla was forced to steady the big Galileo gelding which definitely cost him a length or two. The end margin was 0.6L.
With only 5 runs in the Waller stable, I think the Waller stable will be starting to get to the bottom of all his little flaws and he should start showing his promise at the time of the year where it is easiest to do so.
When To Bet
There is a BM78 over 2400m next Saturday at Rosehill which looks the most ideal option if he pulls up 100%. This keeps him on his home track and 2400m looks to be what he is looking for. The only downfall will be he will go up considerably in weight.
