The Plunge’s Black Book: Horses Running At Randwick 9/1
January 9, 2021
Back to back wins from Athiri contributed to 8 units of profit from The Plungeās Blackbookerās last week. An improving mare from the Waller yard and a potential Doncaster lightweight are what we look at this week.

Randwick Race 3 – 4 Zing
Zing was tremendous last start finishing 1L 2nd to Bowery Breeze where the race wasnāt run to suit. A $101 outsider set a cracking tempo and Zing was forced to cart the field up to the tear away leader. Of the horses in the first 3 in the run, Zing was the only one to battle on for a gallant 2nd. He should sit just off Foxborough here and will be hard to hold out.
Tip: 2 Units Win Zing @ $3
Randwick Race 4 – 5 All Time Legend
All Time Legend proved he is a horse of above average talent with a dominant 2.5L win on this track last start. Bridge and McEvoy have a big opinion of him, he is nominated for The Doncaster in the Autumn and apprentice Chris Williams publically begged for McEvoy to head to Queensland so he could retain the ride. The only danger here appears to be Subedar from the Cummings yard who does have Gloaming Stakes and Caufield Guineas form from last preparation but he made need the run and I am happy to go with All Time Legend at the short quote with the fitness edge.
Tip: 4 Units Win All Time Legend @ $1.9
