Tamworth R8 11. Chelsea Reign

Big run-on stable debut coming down the outside making good ground late after getting well back from barrier 14. He finished 5^th at Quirindi over 1000m after a 67-day break. Was in good order for his prior stable too and those runs would see him competitive here. Good draw and Ben Wheeler (who is under bet) retains the ride taking 3kg off.

Canberra R6 7. Koondeeman

The placing by Waterhouse-Bott has to be respected here especially with the booking of Winona. Third-up here. Led, first-up boxing on for 3^rd 0.6L after setting a good tempo in front. Time was good. Then stepped out to the mile and went too quick in front, 9L quicker than that class average. Back to 1400m against easier company, maps to control the race.

Canberra R8 10. Lady Tabloid

First-up, no public trials. Bolted in on debut, only start over 1200m. Figures were excellent. He then stepped out to further trips over his next few and ran good time. All 4 starts over further he ran early splits lengths quicker than class averages. Fresh and 1200m looks the goods.
