Resumed from a short break running 5th over 900m here in this class. Settled back in the field behind a slow pace. No room in straight, would have finished closer. He then rolled forward to lead over 1050m finishing 2nd (gapped 3rd). Sets up well here.

Last 2 have been solid. Won 2 back in this class carrying 57.5 over the 1000m here (Runner up has since finished 2nd in BM58 company). He then finished 2nd at Ballina over 1000m on heavy, getting home very well from well back in the field. Form sets him up well. Adaptable.
