Newtown Braveheart ($7.5) races well over the 1200m. He has received gear changes in his last 3 starts but rates well puts up good ratings with similar gear to what he’ll run in. Possesses a strong finish and more speed will increase his chances.

Pelgrave ($3.3) resumed finishing 6th 2.3L at Scone over 1300m behind a very slow speed – running good late splits. That Bm58 was a lot deeper than this. He sets up very well here off that first-up effort. Stable and Jockey have a very handy strike rate.
