In good order this prep but has been a bit luckless. Won well last start, coming from well back behind a slow tempo. Usually prominent and assisted by the draw here. Handles wet.

Speedy type looks very well placed here. Last start winner over the 1000m with the blinkers first time, in similar company, he ran exceptional early splits and held on late. This has been his recent racing pattern and the 900m looks ideal. Has the best 1000m form in the race with a couple lengths over this field.
