There were some signs of positivity for the Texans in 2021. Despite being named in trade rumours as well, veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks of Stockton, California had a career-high 90 catches for 1037 yards and six touchdowns. Meanwhile, rookie quarterback Davis Mills of Atlanta, Georgia, Houston’s third round draft pick out of Stanford, showed significant progression as the season went along.
