Our three best tips of the 2024 Cognizant Classic
February 29, 2024

A year ago at the 2023 Honda Classic, I had a hunch. I picked Chris Kirk, the 47th ranked player in the world, as one of my three best bets, and he delivered with his first PGA Tour win in eight years. The golf tournament in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is no longer called the Honda Classic. Honda was the primary sponsor since 1982. The tournament is now known as the Cognizant Classic, as the American information technology company is the primary sponsor. Here are the three golfers we like the most this week.
1) Eric Cole
The native of Palm Springs, California, was the runner-up to Kirk a year ago at the Honda Classic. There he shot a four round score of -14. Over the last year Cole has had strong consistency, as he has had seven top-10 finishes. Ranked 36th in the world, Cole is still looking for his first PGA Tour win.

2) Chris Kirk
I would be a fool not to pick Kirk this year after his remarkable run predicted by me a year ago. The Knoxville native already has a win under his belt in 2024, as he won the Sentry Championship and beat Sahith Theegala of Orange, California by a stroke.

3) Tyler Duncan
You are probably wondering why I am picking the 148th ranked player in the world. Well, there is something about my historical luck at Palm Beach Gardens of picking a dark horse. Duncan of Columbus, Indiana, was third a year ago, and since then finished third in the Dominican Republic and the RSM Classic.
Tyler Duncan is $151.00 to win the 2024 Cognizant Classic. View Bet365 Odds
