Our three best tips for the 2024 Valspar Championship

The PGA Tour continues this week in the state of Florida with the 2024 Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor. Here are the three golfers we like a lot this week.
Sam Burns
Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele of San Diego, California may be the betting favourite at 8.25, but the golfer I like the most this week is Sam Burns of Shreveport, Louisiana. The reason is simple. Burns, the world number 19 has won the Valspar Championship in two of the last three years. In 2021, Burns posted a winning score of -17 and beat 2011 PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley of Woodstock, Vermont by three strokes, and then in 2022, beat Davis Riley of Hattiesburg, Mississippi in a playoff after shooting a four-round score of -17 again.

Taylor Moore
The World number 62 is the defending champion of the Valspar Championship. The native of San Angelo, Texas defeated American Adam Schenk of Vincennes, Indiana last year after shooting a four-round score of -10. For a period of time I was skeptical of picking the defending champion. Then, the world number one Scottie Scheffler of Ridgewood, New Jersey changed my opinion after winning the Players Championship two years in a row last week.

Davis RileyÂ
The world number 231 is our dark horse this week. Don’t analyze Riley’s poor results in 2024 too much (only one cut made in eight events). The reason why I like Riley is because he has had a great result at the Valspar in the past, and he was victorious on the PGA Tour in 2023, albeit in the team event with Nick Hardy of Northbrook, Illinois at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans.
Davis Riley is $301.00 to win the 2024 Valspar Championship. Get Great Odds With Unibet Here
