Our three best tips for the 2022 British Open
July 14, 2022

The final major of the 2022 golf season begins on Thursday from St. Andrews. The Old Course has provided some of the most fascinating golf moments of all-time and over the next four days more history will be made at the 2022 British Open. Here are three golfers worth considering in making your picks.
1) Cameron Smith
Cameron Smith of Brisbane, Australia is sixth in the world and has had an unbelievable 2022. The 28-year-old opened the year with a record-breaking performance at the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui and a second victory at the 2022 Players Championship in northern Florida. Since winning at Sawgrass, Smith has had four top 15 results in seven events. This past weekend at the Scottish Open, Smith was a very respectable 10th place by posting a score of -2. The Scottish Open provided a challenge for many golfers and gave them a strong test of what they will face at St. Andrews this week.

Currently ranked seventh in the world, Thomas’s consistency is a major reason why he is going to be a contender this weekend.
