Bucks vs Heat 8:30am AEST

Got his role in this series wrong before game one and we were lucky to win the bet there. It’s now very obvious how much Spo trusts him and he has paid off that trust with a pair of really solid games, including a 17/5/4 G2. Definitely looks like he belongs out there and should have his minutes locked in today with Iggy banged up. He’s only missed this line in 3 games in the bubble, finishing on 4 in each of those. Averaging 4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the series, but there’s some upside there as he’s up at 7.0 potentials which is low. Was close to posting this last night but didn’t and missed the price, and unfortunately no other bookies are pricing him up today. I’d be interested in taking his assist line also.

  • Herro over 4.5 Rebounds + Assists @ 1.77 with Beteasy – 1 unit

Volume and minutes. He has earned his extra playing time and looks like he’s wound back the clock a few years playing some inspired defence. After topping out at 27 minutes in round 1, he’s played 34,35 in the two games against the Bucks and has been used as the primary defender on Giannis. May even get bumped up slightly with Iggy questionable if he can stay out of foul trouble. He’s taken 19 3’s through the 2 games, making 7 and isn’t really forcing any of them, with 17 coming on open or wide open looks. Solid enough rebounder and with the extra minutes he’s playing this price looks a little overs to me.

  • Crowder over 2.5 3’s @ 1.77 with Topsport – 1 unit
  • Crowder Double Double @ 7.50 with B365 – 0.1 units

He’s been really good in the 2 games averaging 25.5/6/7.5 and Bucks will really have to continue to lean on him here. Miami has done an amazing job limiting transition buckets for Giannis – with just 2 in each game – and Middleton is much more capable in the half court. Averaging just 35 minutes for the series but I would be absolutely shocked if he doesn’t get up to 40 here (although Bud’s quote which I tweeted earlier did not fill me with confidence). With Miami keeping Giannis under control, if Middleton doesn’t have another big game they could be staring down a 3-0 hole.

  • Middleton over 34.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.90 with TAB – 1 unit

Rockets vs Lakers 11:00am AEST

Lakers dismantled Portland, but the Rockets are a completely different proposition. It will be a fascinating matchup stylistically and there is a chance Rockets get dominated and I look silly here, but I think Rockets are a great chance to take out this series if Westbrook can find some of his regular season form. Rockets are such a high variance team and can beat any anybody on any night if their shooters get hot, so I always love taking them as underdogs and we are getting a huge price here on them.

  • Rockets +7.0 @ 1.85 with TAB – 1 unit
  • Rockets ML @ 3.45 with Beteasy – 0.5 units

After a really slow start in the bubble, he’s started getting his shot to go down and has covered this in each of his last 4 with 14 makes in that span. Lebron and AD just generate so many great looks for the Lakers perimeter guys, and KCP is a major beneficiary with 28 open or wide open looks in the round 1 series. There is no doubt he will be getting more good looks here, just needs to knock them down.

  • KCP over 1.5 3’s @ 1.77 with Topsport – 1 unit
