Jazz vs Thunder – 5:30am AEST

We were on him last game and there’s no reason to jump off now. Went exactly to script leading the (very poor) second unit and finished the game with a team high 28.2% usage. Jazz rotation is going to have to be as tight as anyone’s at Disney which is great for betting. Snyder played his main 6 guys all 32+ minutes with the other 3 all between 10-14. Clarkson managed 23 points on a very poor shooting night where he was 8-17 & 1-8 from 3. Liked a lot of the looks he was getting so no reason he can’t replicate that performance. Admittedly a tougher matchup but the line is low enough.

Jazz vs Thunder – 5:30am AEST

Looks ready to go. Was great in all 3 scrimmages with a mouth-watering per 36 line of 24.3/7.4/7.9 to go along with a team high 25.0% usage. The dimes were certainly a nice surprise and looks like an area of his game he’s worked on. Thunder will be doing everything they can to avoid falling to the 7^th seed and versing Clippers first up, so expect their guys to be ready however they may choose to ease Chris Paul back given he only played a total of 38 minutes in the scrimmages. If that’s the case, they’ll need to lean on Shai even more. I’m still far from sold on this Utah team and am happy to fade them here.

Clippers vs Pelicans – 8:00am AEST

Really like this spot for him. With Lou & Trez out again we can expect somewhere similar to his (team-high) 33.3% usage from their opening game. Kawhi had 20 drives against the Lakers but wasn’t very efficient shooting just 28.6% on those. He will find this matchup a whole lot easier against the up tempo Pelicans team who struggle against drivers. Expect him to be very busy.

76ers vs Pacers – 9:00am AEST

I have no idea how the Pacers will be able to hang around with Philly in this one. Sabonis leads their team in on/off at +4.9 while Brogdon is second at +2.2. Embiid is a full go here and Philly will be looking to build some momentum. Philly have a really strong second unit with plenty of scoring led by Horford & should be able to maintain pressure the whole way. Oladipo has looked horrible and could shoot them out of this.
