Fancify
Jumped well and went straight to the front, leading the entire way and kicking clear of the field with 400 metres to run. Back-to-back wins now both in similar fashion, she will again look to head the field and kick away. Going into her fourth run this preparation she will be at peak fitness and looks primed to continue her winning ways.
Berkshire Breeze
Sat midfield for the run then did a demolition job on the rest of the field. Touched the front with 400 metres to go and kicked away to win by 4.75 lengths. Dominant win and a repeat will see him very hard to beat again next start.
He’s Our Bonneval
Motored home in the last 400 metres with the fastest time of the race meeting, 21.63 seconds. After sitting midfield throughout the run, he flashed home to finish fourth in a race that was dominated by the leaders. Will be there in the finish next start and strong to the line with his explosive late speed.
Losesomewinmore
Fourth run in this preparation and an unexpected poor showing after two wins and a second at his three previous starts. Favoured to be right in the finish again here but could only manage to run ninth, 3 lengths behind the winner. Racing Victoria stewards noted that a post-race veterinary exam showed no abnormalities. Forgive this uncharacteristically weak run. He’ll bounce back.
