November 8, 2020
What a Thursday night/Friday morning! Three out of three as the Packers routed the 49ers and we can carry that huge momentum into these picks.

Seattle Seahawks @ Buffalo Bills
The Bills are a good football team, there is no getting around that. But they are not a great team. Josh Allen’s form has dropped off from that hot start and we saw last week that even against a depleted Patriots team that they have lots of flaws still.
The Seahawks are just in that class above the Bills. They are a real contender. Russell Wilson is incredible and along with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett they have one of the league’s best passing offences.

Denver Broncos @ Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons still have some issues but since moving on from Dan Quinn they have really improved on the defensive side. The offence is just as potent as ever and with their opponents injury issues they could have a huge day.
The Broncos have had injury and COVID issues this week. AJ Bouye headlines a long list of players that are either ruled out already or are questionable. The teams that have had their practices disrupted by coronavirus have nearly all suffered when it has come to Sunday and I do not see that being any different here.

Miami Dolphins @ Arizona Cardinals
I should start off by saying I really like what Miami are building, but I think people are overreacting to last week. Offensively they struggled massively and it was not a great debut for Tua Tagovailoa. Their defence stepped up massively and they are definitely an underrated unit, but they do not match up well with Kyler Murray and the Cardinals.
Murray’s movement is likely to cause lots of problems and they will be able to put up points. I’m not sure the Dolphins can keep up.

Chicago Bears @ Tennessee Titans
The Titans have five wins but have played one of the very easiest schedules in the league so far according to DVOA, and they haven’t exactly been convincing in many of those wins. They are a good team, but similar to the Bills, not a great one.
The Bears on the other hand have played the fifth hardest to get their five wins. Those of you who have read my thoughts on the Bears before will know I do not rate them particularly highly, but they have a very good defence once again and I have these two teams at a pretty similar level. The spread is too big here and I have it a lot closer to a pick em than the oddsmakers.

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Coming into the season I really favoured the Buccaneers over the Saints and despite New Orleans coming out on top in their first meeting this season, nothing has changed for me.
Drew Brees is carrying a shoulder injury and even without it, his depth of target has been staggeringly low – he just does not have the arm to get it downfield any more. The Buccaneers defence is particularly good covering these short passes and they match up very well with what this Saints offence is being forced into right now.
Tom Brady has been lighting it up after some teething problems early on. Chris Godwin returns from injury just as they add Antonio Brown into the mix. This offence has so much potential now.
