NBA Preview: May 29
May 30, 2023
Game seven of the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals takes place on Monday between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. The Celtics have a chance of making National Basketball Association history. No team has ever before come back from a 3-0 deficit to win the best out of seven series.
Three teams forced a game seven after being down 3-0, but lost the deciding game. They were the 1951 New York Knicks, who lost the seventh game to the Rochester Royals in the NBA Finals, the 1994 Denver Nuggets, who lost the seventh game to the Utah Jazz in the second round of the postseason, and the 2003 Portland Trail Blazers, who lost the seventh game to the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the postseason. Will history be made on Monday, or will the Heat follow in the footsteps of Rochester, Utah and Dallas?

Miami Heat @ Boston Celtics–8:30 PM ET
The Heat came extremely close in winning game six if it was not for a game-winning shot by Derrick White. The Celtics are 7.5 point favourites. In the six games in the Eastern Conference Finals so far, the Celtics have only covered that spread twice. That is why I think Miami will cover even if the Celtics may get the W. The over/under line in terms of total points at this time is 203.5. None of the previous games have been under 206 points to date. That is why you need to take the over. The winner of Monday’s game will play the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals starting Thursday. Join Our Championships Competition Members Can View Hub Here
