NBA Preview: March 6

Whenever one thinks of March and basketball, the first thing you think of is March Madness. It is just ironic that the the National Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball Tournament is over in April. However, one must realize the NBA still goes on. Here are the three teams I like this week.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Indiana Pacers–7 PM ET

The 76ers are third in the East at 41 wins and 22 losses. The Pacers are 11th in the East at 29 wins and 36 losses.

My Take:

The 76ers have had a tough schedule as of late. However, they have won six of their last seven games against teams under .500. Due to the fact Philadelphia has a higher winning percentage on the road (.586) than Indiana does at home (.545), I like Philly at -6.5, and the under at 233.5. Philadelphia has been involved in games less than 234 points in 10 of their last 12 games. Join Our Championships Competition Members Can View Hub Here

Toronto Raptors @ Denver Nuggets–9 PM ET

The Nuggets lead the West at 45 wins and 19 losses. The Raptors are ninth in the East at 32 wins and 33 losses.

My Take:

The Raptors are playing better basketball with center Jakob Poeltl in the lineup, but one must realize the Nuggets have one of the best centers in the history of the game in Nikola Jokic. I like Denver here at -6.5 and the over at 229.5. Denver has the third best offense in the West (average 117.1 points per game) and have only lost four games at home all year.

New Orleans Pelicans @ Sacramento Kings–10 PM ET

The Kings are third in the West at 37 wins and 26 losses. The Pelicans are ninth in the West at 31 wins and 33 losses.

My Take:

Anyway you look at it, New Orleans is very respectable with Zion Williamson in the lineup (17-12) and not respectable when he is out (14-21). Williamson’s current injury is a right hamstring strain. Due to the fact the Kings lead the NBA with 121.1 points per game, take the Kings at -5 and the over at 238. Join Our Championships Competition Members Can View Hub Here
