NBA Preview: December 30 Edition
December 31, 2022
As there is less than 48 hours before we approach 2023, it is time to profile three games on December 30. Here are three intriguing games to bet on.
Phoenix Suns @ Toronto Raptors–7:30 PM ET’
The Toronto Raptors (15-20) host the Phoenix Suns (20-16) on Friday. The Suns have struggled on the road this year as they have only won six of 17 games. The Raptors are 10-8 at home.
My pick:
Since making NBA picks, I seldom go with a team who is playing their second game of a back-to-back. I am picking Toronto in their game against the Suns, because Phoenix does not have Devin Booker in their lineup because of a groin strain. The Raptors are better than the Washington Wizards, a team that clobbered Phoenix 127-102 on Wednesday. I like the Raptors here at -1.5, and with the Suns without Booker, take the under at 222.

The Chicago Bulls (15-19) host the Detroit Pistons (9-28). The Pistons are currently the worst team in the National Basketball Association.
My pick:
I know the Pistons beat the Orlando Magic 121-101 on Wednesday, but the story of the game was a serious brawl. As a result, 11 suspensions were issued. Due to the fact the Pistons will be shorthanded, take the Bulls by 8.5 and the over of 230, as the Pistons will probably be struggling defensively too.

Miami Heat @ Denver Nuggets–9 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets (22-12) are tied for first in the West with the New Orleans Pelicans. The Heat are seventh in the East at 18-17.
My pick:
The Nuggets have only lost three games at home. That is tied for the least alongside the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat are 6-9 away from home. Take the Nuggets at -4.5, and due to the fact the Nuggets had 253 points in their last game against Sacramento, take the over of 224.5. Join Our Championships Competition Members Can View Hub Here
