Great Britain’s Lottie Woad of Farnham, England is the round two leader at the 2026 Evian Championship. Her score after 36 holes is currently -11.
Woad had a first round score of four-under-par, and a second round score of seven-under-par. On Thursday in round one, Woad had one eagle, five birdies, and three bogeys. She eagled the par-five ninth hole, birdied the second, third, 11th, 15th, and 18th holes, and bogeyed the fourth, fifth and eighth holes. Then on Friday in round two, Woad had eight birdies and one bogey. She birdied the third, seventh, ninth, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th and 18th holes, and bogeyed the 10th hole.
Woad’s key hole in the tournament so far was her eagle on Thursday. It put her at -4, and within four shots of the leader Aki Iwai of Japan.
After Iwai shot an opening round score of -8, Friday’s round was significantly more challenging for the Japanese golfer who has a twin on the Japanese LPGA Tour. Iwai only went -2 in the second round, and is currently at -10, and one stroke back of Woad.
Two major champions are tied for third place at -8 and three strokes back. They are Haeran Ryu of Yeongam-gun, South Korea (the 2026 Women’s PGA Championship winner), and Mao Saigo of Funabashi, Japan (the 2025 Chevron Championship winner).
Woad is competing in her first Evian Championship as a professional. Last year as an amateur, she finished in third place at -13, and only one stroke back of the champion (Grace Kim of Australia) and Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand, who was in a playoff with Kim.
