Heat clobber the Celtics 128-102 to take a 3-0 series lead

The Miami Heat entered the NBA Playoffs as a significant underdog. As the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, expectations were not high. Yet, somehow and some way, they got by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round and New York Knicks in the second round. And now, they are only five wins away from winning the NBA Finals after a 3-0 Eastern Conference series lead over the Boston Celtics.
On Sunday night at the Kaseya Center in south Florida, the Heat had a dominant first three quarters en route to a 128-102 win our the Celtics in  game three of the Eastern Conference Final. Just how excellent was Miami? Well, after the first three quarters, the Heat had a lead of 93-63 lead over the Celtics. Miami outscored Boston 30-22 in the first quarter, 31-24 in the second quarter, and 32-17 in the third quarter. One dominant play by the Heat was a dunk from Bam Adebayo on a pass from Duncan Robinson.

Six Heat players reached double digits in scoring. Point guard Gabe Vincent of Modesto, California had 29 points, small forward Robinson of York, Maine had 22 points, forward Caleb Martin of Winston-Salem, North Carolina had 18 points, small forward Jimmy Butler of Houston, Texas had 16 points, center Adebayo of Newark, New Jersey had 13 points, and Max Strus of Hickory Hills, Illinois had 10 points.
The Heat can close out the series on Tuesday at home. The Western Conference Finals are also at three games to none. There, the Denver Nuggets are seeking their first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history. They can close out the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.
