Two luckless runs for the new stable. First-up wide no cover but boxed on nicely, SP $3.9. Then back got back from the wide draw and given no chance behind the slow speed, was taking lengths off the leaders late. Strong SP profile here and gets a couple changes in his favour.

Like the way he’s been hitting the line recently. His late splits have been solid and suggest he has more to offer. Really like Zac on for that reason. Happy to knock the other favourite, don’t think he’ll be as suited out to 1400m as the market suggests.

Like this one at a price. Gets in light here and has recorded good enough ratings over the 1200m to be competitive in this company. Maps to get the right run from a good draw without much speed inside.
