Wednesday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads to Sandown where the Hillside track will host 8 races with the first to commence at 12:25pm local time.
The track is currently rated as a soft 5. Victorian’s are set for a cool day with tops of 13 degrees! There’s no rain expected on race day which will allow this track to dry out further.
The rail is out 8m for this meeting. Traditionally with the rail out 8m, The Hillside track favours runners who are drawn middle to wide and can make their runs towards the centre of the track. It is no disadvantage to be 3-4 wide without cover over the 1000m.
