February 5, 2021
We’re on the right track now with a huge win in the midweek Central Coast Mariners v Melbourne City game. We will keep the momentum going with our first game in Adelaide tonight with plenty of games to follow on the weekend.

Adelaide United v Perth Glory – Coopers Stadium, Friday 7:05 pm AEDT
Both these sides have already met this season with plenty of goals to share as Perth Glory won 5-3. United now have the luxury of playing at home but they enter as slight favourites against a tough Glory team. I think the best bet is to back both teams to score as there is plenty of fire power.
- 0.15 units: Perth Glory 2.62 with Sportsbet ✅
- 0.25 units: Over 3.5 goals 2.68 with Sportsbet ❌
- 1 unit: Both teams to score & Over 2.5 goals 1.83 with Sportsbet ✅
Brisbane Roar v Melbourne Victory – Dolphin Stadium, Saturday 5:05 pm AEDT
Again, these two sides have already played each other this season as Brisbane were victorious in Melbourne 3-1. Brisbane have struggled against Melbourne Victory at home not having won a game since March 2017. In that time they have suffered 5 defeats over almost 4 years. With this said the Roar is the better of the two teams and they should break the drought at a new home stadium.
- 0.25 units: Brisbane Roar Win 2.15 with Ladbrokes ✅
- 0.75 units: Both teams to score & Over 2.5 goals 2.10 with Sportsbet ✅
Macarthur FC v Western Sydney Wanderers – Campbelltown Stadium, Saturday 7:10 pm AEDT
Both these sides met in round 1 when Macarthur played their very first game in the A-League and they were victorious over their new rivals 1-0. I don’t really want to touch this game but I will give a small bet here for Western Sydney to snatch a win with Mark Milligan missing due to a red card last week against Sydney FC.
- 0.25 units: Western Sydney Wanderers Win 3.00 with Sportsbet ❌
Newcastle Jets v Melbourne City – Hunter Stadium, Sunday 4:05 pm AEDT
Newcastle have turned their poor season around with a win and a draw in their last two starts. City are winless in their last two having conceded 6 goals in their defeats. It’s hard to back the Jets here though and City will turn it around.
- 0.5 unit: Melbourne City Win 2.40 with Sportsbet ❌
Central Coast Mariners v Western United – Bluetongue Stadium, Sunday 6:10 pm AEDT
Staying away from this game.
Sydney FC v Wellington Phoenix – Jubilee Stadium 7:10 pm AEDT
Wellington impressed in their defeat to Sydney early this season in Wollongong, but the defending premiers are just getting started with a 3-0 smashing of Macarthur. Sydney FC to win.
- 0.5 units: Result & Both to Score Sydney FC 3.60 with Sportsbet ✅
- 1.5 units: Sydney FC Win 1.83 with Sportsbet ✅
Brisbane Roar v Macarthur FC – Dolphin Stadium 7:35 pm AEDT
Brisbane have the chance to go top spot here with the Central Coast and they would still have 1 game in hand after this match. They did concede 2 against Melbourne Victory but they scored 5 to easily win the game. Brisbane to win here.
- 0.75 units: Brisbane Roar Win 2.20 with Ladbrokes ❌
Western Sydney Wanderers v Melbourne Victory – Bankwest Stadium 7:05 pm AEDT
Western Sydney sits in 6th after six games played, and Victory is bottom coming off a 5-2 defeat to Brisbane. The Wanderers are priced at 2.10 right now which is great value having won 2 straight against Melbourne.
- 0.5 units: Result & Both To Score Western Sydney Wanderers 3.60 with Sportsbet ❌
- 1 unit: Western Sydney Wanderers Win 2.10 with Sportsbet ✅
