Hit and run mission down in Bunbury today, betting into a 15 start maiden purely because he will not find an easier race to break his duck than this at his home track, not to mention I think he is just going better than these? He is going really well this prep, trialled up very nicely behind Saturday metro performed Melarab before a very good 1st up 4th running on from the rear over a distance short of his best at Ascot behind Holyoake. Last start was nabbed late by a horse that has always promised he may have a bit of ability when he puts it all together. This maiden is nowhere near as deep as that, and is the weakest he has come across in his 15 starts thus far in his career, gets in fitter here 3rd up over a suitable trip and although drawn wide, he has some tactical speed and with some luck Parnham can slot him in and be too good for these at the business end for a stable that seem to be hitting some form. The superior horse in a weak race for mine, happy to get involved despite the record.
