Kensington Race 1 –Â Silly Point
- Trainer: Hawkes
- Jockey: T Berry
- Barrier: 5
Silly Point looks ready to break his maiden with a career record of 4: 0-2-1. All of those starts have been at midweek city level and he has got better with each run. His latest 2nd at Canterbury resulted in him being run down right on the line by Zariya. His main rival here, Barrichello, was not far away in third. The set weight scale sees Silly Point meet Barrichello 2kg better at the weights.

Kensington Race 3 – Promise of Success
- Trainer: J O’Shea
- Jockey: T Berry
- Barrier: 3
We dived head first into this mare exactly a week ago and rarely do we like to go straight back in after a disappointing result but there were plenty of excuses for the European import from the O’Shea yard.
From barrier 1 on a heavy 9, before the turn Tommy Berry was stuck on the inside of the worst part of the track before the turn. When other runners started to fan to better parts of the straight, he was forced to the worst part of the track and still made decent ground to finish 1.1L away in 3rd.
She comes back against the mares at Kensington in what looks like a pretty weak BM72. Berry sticks and whilst the track should be in the soft range, a jockey of his class won’t let bad luck get in the way for a 2nd week straight.
